Woah, I'm a posting machine

See I told you the Ole Kick was right next to my head

Click here to go to see me and Joe kicking Stryker in the head

PS That's me with the green orange and brown striped shirt.

There was a weekend, thus there is a post.

Friday night after work I head to Target looking for a Cotton Candy maker. My neice wants one, and Sunday is her birthday party. I'm unsuccessful, but I do find the pyrex liquid measuring cups my aunt wants. So I pick them up. They're the kind that you don't have to bend down to measure, you can just look from above. I think I'm gonna get me some, for my lazy ass. Since I was unsuccessfull at Target. Sara and I meet at my house to head out to Toys R Us to look for presents. I find the cotton candy maker, and she grabs a tattoo making kit. Then we head to Siam Pasta for some Thai Goodness. She eats a Jalepeno thinking it was a green pepper, and feels the wrath. I unfortunately was unaware of bean sprouts in my garlic chicken, so that lessened the enjoyment of my meal, since I dislike bean sprouts greatly. We go home catch the end of what not to wear and watch Treasure Planet. Well watch the first 15 minutes of Treasure Planet. Then fall asleep. Then get woken up 45 minutes into Treasure Planet with the ice cream I said we should have halfway through the movie. Watch 5 minutes of Treasure Planet while I eat my ice cream. Then fall back asleep for the rest of Treasure Planet.

Saturday she takes off for laundry and yoga, while I sit around and do nothing. I watched the first tape of the 2001 Sweet Science Sixteen and revel in the Awesomeness of CM Punk as he gets a crowd full of juggalos to hate him. CM PUNK > ICP Then I go to the Ring of HOnor show. Descriptions of that are In the post below. At ITVR, on DVDVR in the ROH section as well as at CW's new message board. If you don't get any of those initials, you're stupid and you don't deserve to go there.

Sunday wake up early. Jump in the car and head to Target so Sara can get some non-prescription sunglasses to go with the contacts she just started wearing again. Then to McDonalds so she can get a Bacon Egg & Cheese Bagel meal, while I partake in the 2 Breakfast Burrito meal. Then head to my dad's house for the birthday celebrations of my neice. She turned 11 on Wednesday, but Sunday was the best day for everyone to get together. Uncle Daren & Mary and her granddaughter Angel were there; Ava & Gary were there; Grandpa was there; Chuck, Lynda, and the girls were there; Sara & I were there; Mom was there; too bad Dad wasn't there. It was at his house too. Ah well. I got to see him when he got home from work though, every one else had left by then though. Then headed back to Chicago around 8.

Monday. Work still sucks. I did the ITVR Blog sweep and I noticed Joe G. said something about I-290. Joe are you a Chicago boy? I ask here since, you haven't put a comment thing in your blog.

ROH 04/24/04

Ring of Honor finally came out to the Midwest for a double shot weekend this past weekend. They hit up St. Paul, Minn. on Friday the 23rd, and then Chicago Ridge, IL (Southwest suburbs) on Saturday the 24th. I purchases second row tickets the day the event was announced, way back before any of the RF stuff, and way before the TNA talent yankings. The show was quite changed up from the original line up because of the TNA pullouts. The combination of the loss of TNA talent plus the fact that the Midwest has had quite the resurgence of wrestling recently and this being ROH’s first trip out here, there were a lot of local guys that got quite the chance to shine on the large stage of Ring of Honor. I personally was looking forward to the Homicide vs. American Dragon “Dream Match” the most, as well as seeing plenty of guys I’ve not had the chance to see before (Cide, AMDrag, Briscoes, Pitbulls, Evans, RCE.)

A lot of people talk about production values of Ring of Honor. It shows up tremendously on tapes, and it’s always looked nice. This show really didn’t feel like an indy, because of said production values. The house lights were all out, they used their own lighting rigs. Add on the barricades, decent sound system, and decorated entrance way and you can see how this company really values the atmosphere and feel that they project, and it works.

So we get to the show and park in a spot on the street right in front of the entrance (HAHA everyone that parked far away) We walk in and Mickey Knuckles and the lady that is usually working the concession stand at IWA shows are handing out flyers for the next IWA show (May 8, Lincoln Center, Highland, IN) I’ve always kinda dug her, but there was something in the air that night [/ABBA]. So, I would now like to place my application to become Mickey’s Highland Ring Rat. Miss Knuckles you can cravate me anytime you like. I purchase 3 DVDs and the Second Anniversary VHS. (Hey knuckle heads if the March 13 show is available, you’d probably sell more of them if you let us know before the end of the show.) I have a thought. Colt loves to sell gimmicks; anyone that’s talked to him while he works a gimmick table knows that. Colt this message is for you. Sell CABANABANDANAs they will sell like hotcakes. Help out in the concessions area take a sharpie and sell CABANABANANAs. Thing is I’m serious they’d do well. We question the numbering system of the venue since it isn’t clear if the entrance of the row begins the seat numbers, or if the farthest seat in against the barricade begins the seat numbers, we eventually find out it is the inside, so we move on in to Seats 3 and 4. Quite close to the barricade for the wrestler’s entrance aisle. Quietly wait for the show to begin. Phil was talking about how when he went to the debut ROH show, everyone was so shocked that it started on time. We were hoping for the same fate. Alas, as fans continued filing in the show started ten minutes late. At least they let us know that they were waiting for the rest of the fans to get in.

Second City Saints vs. The Prophecy B.J. Whitmer vs. Ace Steel
The show started with hometown Second City Saints member Ace Steel coming out to start the show. Then his opponent BJ Whitmer followed. Just as they were about to lock up, The Briscoe Brothers come out and attack Steel and work on his neck (including a springboard spike Jay Driller). And let everyone know they mean business and will destroy the Saints tonight in their main even title defense against them later (Punk & Cabana.) Punk and Cabana then come out and chase Whitmer and the Briscoes to the outside. Punk cuts a promo on them talking about how this is their house, and referencing other great Chicago matches (Hart/Austin at WMXIII, and Bret/Owen (rest his soul) at Summerslam), while Cabana is checking on Ace’s neck. Then Punk & Cabana start brawling with the Briscoes on the outside (including Cabana’s Twisting Asai Moonsault) and they brawl to the back. Whitmer grabs the mic and says the prophecy isn’t going to take a forfeit victory from the Saints, and proceeds to work on the neck as the match begins. Short little match that sees Whitmer win with his Wrist Clutch Exploder. After the match Ace takes a King-sized chair shot from Whitmer.

The Carnage Crew of Justin Credible & Masada vs. Delirious & Shawn Daivari
The Carnage Crew is MAD Over in Chicago, I don’t know if it is because they are recognized from ECW since Chicago was a major ECW town, or what. I’m sure “Chris Lovey will portray it as Chicago being a blue collar town, thus they love The Carnage Crew. I’ve never seen Masada outside of not really paying attention to a few Carnage Crew matches on tape, and he was pretty good. I’m admittedly a HUGE Delirious mark and got to share with him a few proclamations of “BAH!” The Crew hit their big impact maneuvers, Justin was lazy and phlegmy, and the little guys sold well. We got to see a Magic Carpet Ride, and Delirious got to play with the carpet, so the local fans were happy. Decent, but nothing special. The Carnage Crew won.

Chad Collyer vs. John Walters
Good match between the two. Walters told some blood marks to go somewhere else, so that was fun. This was solid, and quite mat-based as you would suppose with these two. But as is the problem with a solid technical match, there weren’t many spots, so not much sticks out in the mind to discuss here. So I’ll just say, I liked it more than I thought I would, since I’m not really impressed with Walters all that much. Collyer got his back in this return matchup.

Nigel McGuiness vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Austin Aries vs. Rocky Romero
This match was awesome and was much better received by the crowd than the last match. Even though both were incredibly good well worked matches that would both be considered technical. This had more wacky reversals, firm solid strikes, and never before seen by the casual crowd submission maneuvers, that had the crowd popping like crazy. When Jimmy Rave is the weak technical link in a four way, you got some talent in there. This was a really solid match that I really want to see the tape of. Nigel made Rave tap with some sort of wackiness

Homicide vs. Bryan Danielson
The match I was looking the most forward to. Unfortunately there was something missing. After reading the reports of the St. Paul show, that had fireballs and locker clearing brawls involved I was expecting extra crazy, extra violent Homicide. Instead I got a Homicide that was almost subdued compared to normal. Barring the point at the beginning of the match when he got pissed at some chants by The Tools, and threw the Ring bell at them (well, the barricade in front of them.) It seemed like Homicide was trying to go toe to toe on the mat with Dragon. Which of course he doesn’t win. So he goes outside and acts a fool (after teasing the crowd with the cannonball suicide dive, nice heel spot.) Then Dragon takes back over by working on THE HAND~!~!~! And takes back over. Plus, Dragon worked in an airplane spin, NICE. They work the reverse each other’s finisher spot (well, actually cattle mutilation was on for a while) and then Homicide out of the blue hits the low blow and a lariat for the win. The match was alright. But for what is supposed to be a character changing weekend for Homicide (ROH website even says “The World Title controversy in St. Paul has definitely changed Homicide” he was pretty much the same old Homicide. So I’m not quite sure what the story was here. If you look at it from just the wanted to see Homicide vs. Danielson side of things, it wasn’t as good as it could have been either. But I was really distracted by not seeing this NEW Homicide.

Intermission was in here. Very nice bathrooms at the Fieldhouse. The pizza they brought in was the kind with the floury type undercrust, so that was lacking. They did keep the tops on the waters which is nice when so many venues don’t these days.

Ricky Reyes vs. Danny Daniels .
There was something off in this match and I really hope it wasn’t because of a Danny Daniels injury. He seemed to have something wrong with his (I believe) right leg. They just couldn’t quite click, and I hope it doesn’t hurt his chances of more ROH gigs. Reyes made Danny Tap to end it.

Jack Evans/??? Vs. The Carnage Crew vs. The Ring Crew Express, vs. Alex Shelley & Jimmy Jacobs in a Scramble match.
Matt Sydal ended up being Jack Evans mystery partner, Daizee Haze was their valet. Scramble match = Spot Fest. Spot Fest featuring Jack Evans = Crowd popping goodness. Alex Shelley back in the Ring = Me Marking Out. Alex Shelley coming back with even more awesome submission maneuvers = Me Marking Out. 9 Year old kid telling Daizee Haze “Hey bitch why don’t you come over here and suck my dick” = Not Cool. OK the equal signs were a dumb idea, I realize that now, I’m done with them. Once we got to the dive sequence (yes, I was surprised too, a scramble match that ended up in a dive sequence, why I never…) It seemed that Marcos and Jacobs ended up getting stray feet to the head and neck respectively while catching the dives. Both seemed really shaken up afterwards. Then Jimmy had to take the Carnage Driver (One of the hardest ones I’ve seen). But the Carnage Crew got pulled out before they could get the pin, and Evans hit the 630 to the amazement of the crowd and for the pin. Post Match Devito gets mad at Evans for getting the pin off of his work and starts hitting things at ringside with a chair. He eventually throws the chair in disgust, and it accidentally bounced up and hit a fan at ringside. Luckily it was a pretty big guy that was able to deflect it from hitting his lady next to him, and the people behind him. He was alright. (Very good of Devito and Gabe to quickly check him and make sure all was OK.) Then afterwards, much like Shelley said the night before in St. Paul. He turned on Jimmy for not holding up his end of the tag team. Shelley getting pushed = a good thing, yes I’m a Shelley mark. (Yes I know I said I was done with the equal signs, deal with it)

ROH Title Samoa Joe vs. Matt Stryker
I was kind of sad going into this match because I wasn’t sure how well Stryker and Joe could work together, and I didn't want to see a ROH Samoa Joe match that wasn't that good. The end result was it worked pretty well. Fun match. Joe had a bandage over his face where the burn happened. This led to me and Phil talking about the shoot interview (I forgot who with, Watts maybe, Honky???) where I believe it was the Dirty White Boy in an effort to put over a beating he had taken, took steel wool, and scraped his face all up to make himself look worse. We were hoping that’s what Joe did to get his face all messed up. Everyone’s talking about Joe’s reaction to the fan calling him Rikishi (“Is Samoa Joe gonna have to choke a bitch!?”) Well in my section, in preparation for his second Ole kick, Joe is asking me for a chair. When all of us start saying they’re tied together, and we’re trying and they won’t go, he just reaches over grabs one and yanks it. Like it was nothing. He jacked my elbow pretty good with the chair leg, but he got his chair, and proceeded to kick Stryker’s head off 2 feet in front of me, so I didn’t mind. They played the Big man destroying the little man match for quite a while, before Stryker took over, and worked Joe’s leg for a good while. Quite impressive that Stryker held Joe up for quite a while before delivering a Death Valley Driver. Another title match that Joe barely ekes out a victory is in the books. I like the way they have that working. If you follow the storyline, it really makes you think that one of these underdog challengers is going to upset the champ.

Main Event Tag Team Titles CM Punk & Colt Cabana vs. The Briscoes.
The crowd welcomed back Punk & Cabana with open arms. They were so happy to be home and playing the faces that Punk even smiled when Colt hit the Electric Boogaloo Elbow Drop. Of course the smiles kept coming when Colt had tagged in to hit the move, but went back on the apron after the move, while Punk stood there and said “So are ya gonna stay in here or what” Before they switched back. Punk was Ricky Morton for most of the match. It was a really fun match that due to the atmosphere unfortunately I don’t remember much of the match; I was just in the moment and enjoying it. I look forward to the release so I can actually watch the match, for the sake of watching the match. On the ride home, Phil mentioned the thing about Punk that doesn’t come across on tape as much as it does seeing him live is that you can tell he lives this. You can feel the wrestling in his blood and running through his veins, and I have to concur. In the ring Punk just has an aura, and that makes me sad that I only noticed it, and started going to shows at the end of his Midwest run. The hard fought back and forth match eventually ended with Mark taking a particularly face-droppy Pepsi Plunge. After the match Whitmer ran in because he’s in The Prophecy, and there can’t be good things happening to the Saints when they’re around. Ace came out with a chair and returned the favor from Whitmer’s Chair Shot earlier in the night. And it looked as if Ace was thinking about using the chair to turn on Punk too, but nope, they Saints celebrated with the crowd as Copacabana played.

Great time. The Production values were there, Dave Prazak was there. Great show. As we try to file out, some of my friends try to flirt with Mickie, unfortunately they don’t know that they need to offer her the ability to cravate them to be successful in that endeavor so I’ll win that one. I thank Carmine for his help in bringing Ring of Honor to Chicago, and it’s still freaking raining. Decent ride back home to the northside. And it was an enjoyable day.

Hey Guess what I'm doing tonight

I'm living in about an hour to go see Ring of Honor in Chicago Ridge. It's the company's first venture into the Midwest, I've got second row seats and I'm hyped. Last night's show in Minn. Included an appearance by Ricky Steamboat and the show ended in a major brawl caused by Homicide throwing a fireball in Samoa Joe's face. Here's the card for tonight.

Second City Saints vs. Prophecy

Ace Steel vs. BJ Whitmer with Allison Danger

Tag Team Scramble

Oh Bl- Weekend post, why I never.

Well yeah Friday after work I run home to change into shorts and head out to meet Sara & her sister at Tapas to enjoy their outdoor seating. Then back to the house for some What Not to Wear then the Ron Jeremy documentary. It wasn't as good as all the reviews made it seem. Plus it just kind of seemed like they through on the sad part of the story at the end, almost like there was no build to it. It's just hey everyone loves Ron for an hour then noone LOVES Ron for the last twenty minutes.

On Saturday was another trip to Old Navy. Damn I'm stocking up, actually only 2 polos purchased on this excursion. The reason for the trip was because of a serious lack of good shorts in a variety that my, since last summer, expanded ass will fit into. Then we head over to Heather & Brians for some outdoor dining. I'm starting to get the whole "OK I see your family way too much" feeling going on. It might just be the season since her brother has been feeling the same way, all the gathering reasons are all bundled up here at one point of the year. At least I get to go to my neice's birthday next Sunday.

Sunday I opt of going to her parents, in leiu of partaking in Backlash with Brian. Most of the day up to that point was just putzing around online and watching the MadMan Pondo Shoot Interview. Also made an awesome batch of baked chicken breasts, made with a myriad of the usual spices and sauces, but key to this batch was the nice addition of some Newman's Own Light Dressing.

On to Backlash thoughts.
-Benji vs. Flair was a nice opener. Anytime I can get two Flair Flops, two Flair Eyepokes, Some Flair Begging off, and a decent quality opponent, with nothing going south in a decent little match, I'm happy.
-Coach vs. Tajiri was better than it had any right to be. I'm still a Tajiri mark, and Coach is fun. Hey Mr. Cade you had nothing going for you. You probably won't after this either.
-Handicap match was there. Actually it was really good, but since it was those three, you expect good, so when you get really good you don't react as much.
- Eugene's been there how long, and noone has been nice enough to let him know his jacket is inside out, that's not very nice. Hi Gail how're your new boobies. (yes I take every opportunity I can to call breasts boobies, oh to be 12 again.)
- Victoria still looks goofy smiling. Pshycho (sic) Vicky=HOTT; Shiny Happy Vicky=NOTT. Lita needs to be sent down to OVW until she gets over her trepadation in the ring. I believe it was Shad over on ITVR that said maybe it's not that she's sucking as much as just while she was gone everyone improved by leaps and bounds and she stayed stagnant. I believe it's a combo of their improving and her hesitations in the ring that are causing her matches to be OF TEH SUCK. So please make them stop KTHX. Hey this tag feud would rule with out a Lita that looks filled with Matt Hardy's V2.0s.
-Orton took the bumps that noone thought he would take. Was Barbie just a bat covered in wire (note I didn't say Barbed Wire, since I saw no barbs.) Got to see how they portray Orton on Monday to see how well Operation Orton Over worked.
-Hey Eugene can feud with La Res. The two gimmicks everyone hates are in a program together. Eugene makes me laugh. I feel dirty knowing that, but I love him, and if done correctly could be an endearingly great character (see Steele, George) Alas, I don't see that ending up the case.
-Hi Edge you ruled before you left, now you're a big pile of bathroom break. Boo to that.
-Not as good as WM, but when you try to recapture the essence of a match it rarely works out the same. Having Hebner come running out with HBK having the Sharpshooter on a Canuck in Canadia was kinda cute. I saw You Screwed Bret coming from a mile away. Now only if HBK instead of looking around as if to say "Why are you doing that, I'm supposed to be a facey-tweener here" If he would have given out the Brock Lesnar double fingers to the crowd like I was hoping, I would have MARKED THE FUCK OUT. That also would have helped a budding Face Benoit vs. Heel HBK program that should ensue from this.

Yes now it's Monday, I don't wanna work, and I'm blogging about my weekend. Wow my life rarely changes does it.

Chugging along at work on a Friday afternoon...

So you know what I have planned for this weekend...NOTHING.
I enjoy this weekend of having nothing planned, because my calender has something on every single weekend until June. So with the weather breaking into the 80s, absolutely nothing planned I'm looking forward to a good weekend. I might go to the bar to watch Backlash, probably not though. I think Sara and I should take the train downtown, and use up some gift certificates we have for a place with an outdoor bar. That should be enjoyable. I'm trying to decide, would I rather have the Perch with Mac & Cheese or a Corned Beef Sandwich with Chicken Noodle Soup? I believe tonight shall be some Netflix action with Treasure Planet and the Ron Jeremy movie at the condo, and Intolerable Cruelty showing up today. Damn, I forgot to open up my windows before work today.

Smackdown was campy last night. Big Show showed some acting range, as when it comes to things like that in WWE there reall isn't anyone better than the Big Show. Too bad the subjcect matter was weak. How convienent that Torrie was already scheduled as a guest for Rene's Cafe for next week, I wonder if it will end like most Torrie interview segments (i.e. she says something vaguely sexual then tries to dance.) It would be quite out of place after last night. Hey, Smackdown! has never seen anyone like this Rico feller. Psst didn't he schedule that Billy & Chuck SD! wedding, (SHHHH Noone's supposed to remember that.) That little Commercial Bradshaw had about how Eddy's a terrible champion was awesome. It's a shame they don't put that much work into all the storlines in the WWE, it'd be back to it's glorious 1998 prime.

Eh, I think I'll go make my usual circle of website visits until it's time for lunch. Bye

Lovely Wednesday Night

I decided not to do a write up of the show, follow the link to DVDVR in the post below if you want to see what I thought.
I'm finally getting to see Sunday's Sopranos right now so this should be short.
Lots of work, and lots of taking forever to fall asleep.
Eh, I've had this open for 15 minutes, and haven't typed much so bye.

Monday, April 12, 2004

Hey it was a weekend, so here's a post

Friday, after work pick up Sara and head to Old Navy. During their 10 year anniversary sale polos are $10. I picked up 6 more, since I love wearing polos to work. They are cheap, less stuffy, and follow the (admittedly casual) office dress code. After quick treks to the grocery store for salad making items for dinner, and liquor for boozing, we head back to my house. We watch Boondock Saints. It was good, although we both didn't really enjoy the ending, which sucks because the rest was really good.

Saturday wake up and we run to the Emissions testing place to go have my car PASS it's emissions test. And pick up some things for Easter. I make a couple CDs for my travels and I leave Sara at my house to go see some wrestling. I go to see NSSE and IWA-MS (reports later forthcoming (Maybe)). Meanwhile Sara cleans my house and watches movies there. I need to go to wrestling more often since it seems everytime I go she cleans my house for me. :) The firs show was fun, the second show was as phenominal as 'Phenominal' AJ Styles, if I decide not to do a write up I talked a bit about it here.

Sunday was Easter, Sara left early to go to services, I didn't wake up until 11:00 (the second show started at 7:30 and ended after 1:00, plus the hour+ drive home.) So I pick up some Mums and head over to Heather & Brian's house for Monzingo family Easter Dinner. It was nice, and pleasant. Yummy food, decent walk around the small lake by their house Watched some of the Nick & Jessica Variety show. The funniest thing had to be "Ten Seconds of Awkwardness with Mr. T" With just a camera on Mr. T as he stood there. Sara and I came home, and watched the "You Got 53R\/3|)" Episode of SouthPark to much hilarity. Then I couldn't sleep because I slept in earlier.
Now it's back to work yippee.

Stats and more media

Well, my dorkiness for assembling stats, my obsession with media, and my not wanting to be at work, led me to doing some number playing.

This is my wrestling DVD/tape Collection Broken out.

WWF/WWE DVDs 34 collections containing 46 discs
Other DVDs 32 collections containing 67 discs

Following are VHS totals.

WWE PPV 56 Events
WWE Non-PPV 37 Events
WCW 38 Events
Non-US Entities 38 Events
IWA-MS 34 Events
Ring of Honor 19 Events
Other US Indies 82 Events
Shoot Interviews 36 Events
Best of Tapes 54 Events
Compilations 41 Events
Miscellaneous 26 Events

Total VHS Events 461 Events

Fortunately for Space reasons, and because of how some traders trade, these aren't all on 461 individual tapes. I'd have to count sometime to see how many actual Physical Video Tapes there are, and well that's not possible while I'm sitting at my office at work. Also not included above are cases where there are doubles, I have a couple doubles of some Coliseum Masters. As well as for instance: Wrestlemania 15, of which I have a DVD, a commercial master, and a version taped off television.

My current obsession with Media also has me pondering purchasing an RCA to headphone jack converter. So I could record my audio cassettes to MP3. That might be a little too much, but hey, it'd be fun (maybe).

Wrestling this weekend

IWA-MS has this show Saturday Night. Simply the Best 5, I'm hyped, here's the card. They've promised 12 matches, so there's bound to be some suprises.

Highland!

Also before hand I'm checking out a small show put together by a Pro Wrestling school, that is having a clinic with Dr. Tom Pritchard that morning, Dr. Tom is then going to book 14 of them into 7 matches and have an exhibition for $5. Five bucks to see Colt Cabana, bring it on.

Results and Stats for my music on my computer.

7849 Total Tracks on my Hard Drive.

19 days, 14 hours, 45 minutes, and 33 seconds of music.

At least I think my math is correct, it displays as 28245:33

Now, I just need to fix some of the tagging, and I should be all set to go.

Well the CD Project is done.

I'll get the final statistics on here tonight, after I get all my downloaded albums into the folder with the rest of everything. All in all, I'm almost positive it is over a month of music (and comedy, and some interviews, etc.). Once I get all settled in and decide on which player* I like best, I'll probably never listen to any of my CD's again. I'll keep them in their binders (Until I move into a bigger place and they'll probably go back in their jewel boxes that are currently at my Dad's) and just play CD-R's of things in my car. This should keep anything from ever happening and I don't have to worry about scratching anything. Unfortunately my Originall Ill, RBF Turn the Radio Up, and Stankonia are scratched up way too much, and I don't need anything else meeting that same fate. Also, CD-R are free anyway after rebates so often everywhere, it's almost like they are expendable. At least I hope it stays this way, The last 3 100packs have been free after rebate, so hopefully that trend never goes away. Then after all that is situated, I'll make some more mP3 discs for work. Then the vast music rearrange will be completed.
Then it's off to do something with the VHS in my house. Eventually I'm sure it'll be converted to DVDR, but I need to not make any major purchases like that for a while, and get this Credit Card debt down. With Sara's birthday past, I should be able to save quite a bit for a while. So the next project needs to be get some of the unwatched VHS and DVD watched.

*Now I know people aren't to keen on MusicMatch. I use it and it seems fine, but what all am I missing out on by no using WinAmp and ITunes Player, and any other players you guys know about.

So what's in your Netflix queue?

Here's mine (213 in queue)
Can you tell that I will throw things on there in whim?
It's very heavily skewed at the top because Sara occasionally will pick some things, and intersperce it evenly with the things at the top of my queue, while most things at the bottom are mine and will probably never be gotten to:

How can you not love this movie?

Samir

What Office Space character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Weekends weekends weekends

Friday: After work I drop my car off for repairs and Sara picks me up and we go home to watch movies, Netflix didn't come, so we instead just watch a little TV, as she looks for houses (She's currently looking for "by herself" houses.) No big whoop

Saturday: I hang at home and wait for a call from the dealership as to why the Check Engine Light is on in my car, I finally hear that it was a fuel valve problem, $189 repair, but the part isn't there. So it has to be done Monday morning. So Sara takes me to get a haircut at her lady so I can get rid of the mop, and maybe get something new. I pretty much got my same usual haircut, just with the sides and back a touch longer, and the top is a touch shorter. It's still just make it messy on top and it's done. Then we head to her brother's house to embark on the Sara & Heather's Siblings and Partners Birthday Extravaganza. We go to the 96th floor bar in the Hancock building. We pretty much missed sunset, and only got to see a pretty red-orange sky, but the drinks were pricey so we started drinking. (Sara and I had "Skyscrapers" Cranberry, OJ, Vodka, and other foo-foo-ness) Then we head out of there since it was expensive and went to a hotel bar, a touch cheaper but still too stuffy for my tastes, but it was fun evening out on the town night, so it was good for what it was (**1/2 [/smark]). A couple cocktails there and Sara, her brother and I head over to The Cheesecake Factory to get our beepers (yes, there was a wait to get the beepers so you could wait some more). And we start drinking there. A couple of cocktails later (including foo-foo ice cream fancy drinks) the other three come on over (the hotel bar was across the street from Cheesecake Factory, and Cheesecake was incredibly packed, but the bar started clearing out so we called them over from the other bar that they were hanging out at comfortably. The buzzer couldn't go off the property, thus the three of us originally staying at Cheesecake.) A couple more cocktails and we were seated. We all ate, and ordered Cheesecakes to go. Then looked like tourists with our Cheesecake factory bags, walking back to the train. We took the train back to her brother's house. The plan originally was to go from his house out to a bar near him that is a Tiki bar, and has more tropical foo-foo drinks. But after the giant meals and the hour+ commute. The wind had fallen from most of the party's sails. So we pretty much called it a night and crashed at Keith & Mike's house.

Sunday: After a quick $125 trip to Old Navy ($10 Polos until April 15, Cheap Work Clothes, stock up time, BABY) I was dropped off at home. Sara went off running around to Open Houses with her sister, and was staying out there to have her Jeep's brake lights tested Monday morning (they were intermittently not working for the past week, that's not a good thing) So I had a Ken lazy wrestling day. I dubbed the WWE No Way Out Disc (Netflix came on Saturday:) ) Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to watch all of Ichi the Killer before Sopranos started, so I held off on that, and putzed around on the computer (CD Ripping Project Status, all items in my big binders are in, now I just need to do the CDs in the car, and the ones laying around not in the binders, so I'm thinking 77 CDs to go. I'm well over 6000 tracks, and unfortunately I keep forgetting to start SLSK before bed, so I'm sorry none of them have been available yet. ) I have most of ITVR's names in my list so you'll get priority out of the seemingly hundreds of downloads queued up to my account (including yours Muggs, big shout outs to my most frequent commenter, what comment whoring, why would you ever say I'm doing that, what, Yes I know it doesn't matter anyway, since noone reads this far into these way too long entries. )

Monday: The car was supposed to be done by 9, I got it at 11, and I'm at work doing this, instead of working. Ya gotta love the first quarter in the mortgage industry, lots of people sitting around waiting for anything to come in.
