Tuesday Update.

OK, today's a touch less busy, so I can squeeze in a weekend update here. Sara was gone with her students and Dina to Memphis this weekend, so what results is bachelor pad weekend madness.

Friday I didn't feel to hot, so I skipped out on work. Spent the day getting all my tapes organized to get ready for burning them to DVD, and selling off what I don't want. Yep, I'm getting rid of most of my tapes. I'll convert most of what I want to keep (pretty much ROH, IWA-MS, etc.) and get rid of the rest. Keeping those DVDs in a binder will take up a lot less room, and I should be able to keep everything I have on just the grey bookshelf in the computer room. I was going to go out to Live Band Karaoke, but I fell asleep on the couch watching the CZW Best of the Best 4 DVDs that I borrowed from Phil. I then woke up and watched the first half of CZW Tournament of Death 3. Somewhere in there I also reorganized all the wrestling on my computer.

Saturday I woke up and it was still snowing. We'd gotten about a foot plus overnight and it just kept going. I finally got all the old SBC Yahoo software off my computer so that my Comcast connection stops using it for my intramanent. It finally stopped around noon, and Joey came over to pick me up to begin a day of lucha. We went to Larry's house and hung out there watching an old PCW show with him and Rob, then it was off to the show. Roads were horrendous, and hadn't even came close to getting cleared. We eventually got into the city, and after a snow clearing assist by Joey, Rob, and I, Larry got the car parked in front of the bar we were meeting everyone else at before the show. The bar was the Green Eye, and I dug it because they played Flogging Molly the entire time we were there. Had a few Woodchucks to go with the Woodchuck I had had earlier in the day. Then it was off to brave the unshovelled sidewalks of Chicago to get to the Congress Theatre for some Lucha Libre action. Decent time had there, helped for me by the plethora of cans of Bud Light and Modelo partaken in, and a free Bud from the promoter. El Hijo Del Santo definitely has a presence, and it was cool to see him and he even busted out the Santo tope for us. Other than that the Presence of the lucha superstars was about all there was for wrestling action, since the locals weren't exactly the best, and the superstars mailed it in. Afterwards we try to hit up some Karaoke and a house party but they both seemed dead so we didn't. I did find out I need to get a bunch of Joey's MP3 Discs and steal songs off them, as well as Larry needs to make me one too, and Reel Big Fish's first album, since I don't have mine anymore, Jen/Jody :). Many many forgotten songs that need to be partaken in by me.

Sunday I decided the roads probably weren't going to be good yet, so I didn't leave the house again. I cleaned the garage. Got Larry's (and possibly Jesse's) media racks all put together. Took the DVD Recorder out of the bedroom and set it up in the computer room hooked to the DVD player and VCR for some DVD Recording action. Recorded an IWA master to see how the DVDs look at low quality. (not too good) And generally just putzed around the house and chatted on the intramanent.

Didn't do much, except the lucha show, but it was good to just chill at home and do nothing. Sara came back Monday and it's good to have her back too

Who wants some quizzes

Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson

"Fall, with you I fall so fast
I can hardly catch my breath
I hope it lasts"

In 2004 you fell in love. Let's hope it lasts.

You Are 27 Years Old

27

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

Your Dominant Intelligence is Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

You are great at finding patterns and relationships between things.
Always curious about how things work, you love to set up experiments.
You need for the world to make sense - and are good at making sense of it.
You have a head for numbers and math ... and you can solve almost any logic puzzle.

You would make a great scientist, engineer, computer programmer, researcher, accountant, or mathematician.

Your Element Is Air

You dislike conflict, and you've been able to rise above the angst of the world.
And when things don't go your way, you know they'll blow over quickly.

Easygoing, you tend to find joy from the simple things in life.
You roll with the punches, and as a result, your life is light and cheerful.

You find it easy to adapt to most situations, and you're an open person.
With you, what you see is what you get... and people love that!

You Should Try Sandboarding

As extreme as snowboarding...
Except you won't get cold!

You Are the Peacemaker

9

You are emotionally stable and willing to find common ground with others.

Your friends and family often look to you to be the mediator when there is conflict.

You are easy going and accepting. You take things as they come.

Avoding conflict at all costs, you're content when things are calm.

Your Stripper Name is: Scandal

Your Penis Name is: 100% All-beef Thermometer

OK that's enough

Weekends are good for everyone.

Friday, went to Target and ate Chinese Food. Pretty boring, but Sara was sick. She subsequently went to bed, and I stayed up watching the tapes I was taping for Anthony and Phil. I cleaned up my computer as I did this and now it's relatively organized, and the drives I usually work in now have some room to work with.

Saturday I woke up and I'm on the beginnings of some sickness. We cleaned the house, got all the Christmas stuff into the garage, all that kinda jazz. Then went over to Larry's to get ready for the wrestling show. Pre-show eats at the Round the Clock were very slow, and we almost miss belltime. Good thing this is indy wrestling so it was a bit late. Good show, if you're looking for results you know all the places to get them. If you want the breakdown of the show: New Jack was drunk and was looking for midget strippers, and Larry Sweeney vs. Tracy Smothers dressed as Golden Vampire XIII was the awesomest match in the history of awesome matches.

Sunday went mattress shopping. Not too down with the whole high pressure tactics used in mattress stores. Ended up deciding the one at Sam's Club was a Sealy and was totally fine to us and $300 cheaper than the others we wanted, so we'll get it there. Also finally got a chair for my computer. Sara liked it so she bought one for herself. Golden Globes were watched and chairs were assembled and I'm so close to being totally sick, but not quite going over the edge to sickness.

Next weekend is the crazy shenanigans of Sara being gone so it's a bachelor pad weekend, but the weekend is filled with lucha, Purdue friends in town, and other items, so unfortunately I won't really be able to partake in the empty house stylings of a boy that just wants to watch wrestling and play Playstation. I can't rule out the possibility of dead hookers though.

The Weekend Updates Return

Sitting here at work, entering invoices, listening to Netscape Radio's Hair Metal Channel {songs as I type put in these Guns N' Roses - You Could Be Mine}, decided to give the people what they want. A big weekend entry.

Thursday had Heather and Dina over to partake in some Viccino's pizza, twas delightful. Heather left, and we watched Napoleon Dynamite. When a movie that you enjoy's best line is just one person saying "Yes" you know it's filled with simplistic goodness.

Friday after work ran to get my discount from Viccino's (used a coupon for the pizza, but forgot it so I had to pay full price, and they said they'd give me back the difference), and a run to {Kix - Cold Blood} the liquor store to restock the cider (me) and wine (Sara) and Beer (guests) collections. Larry came over to chill for a bit before meeting Phil at Live Band Karaoke. I didn't know many of the songs that this band did well, and by the time I found one to do, they already had the entire night's songs filled. So no Karaoke for me, Sara didn't do it either. Larry did Rio and Talk Dirty to Me by Duran Duran and Poison respectively. Phil did What I Got by Sublime. Good times as usual for LBK. {Def Leppard - Women}

Saturday woke up early to get my brakes looked at. Apparently the new fancy brakes I put on last time didn't have the Screeching things that let you know that they're almost gone on them. So sadly I wore the brakes all the way through, and by the time I was able to notice there was something wrong with the brakes I already killed the rotor. Also the hoses were getting constricted, so thats why the brakes were staying on after releasing the brakes. Too much money right there, but hey, now I can drive the car, without doing damage, or fearing for safety. Also found out the rear brakes leak brake fluid, didn't have them fix that, as I figure that can be done by me and Dad, and isn't as prudent as getting the work done on the front ones. Then Brian came over and we finished the mystery of the cieling fan. The people that wired the last one did it all sorts of screwy but we (meaning he :)) got it taken care of, and the fan is now up circulating air and lighting the living room delightfully. Then I fixed the bathroom doorknob, and put the doorbell chime back up. {Night Ranger - Sister Christian AWESOME} Then Sara and I ran out to grocery shop, and pick up a couple things at Walmart. All the while, she had me working the VCRs at a feverish pace since it was Elvis' 70th Birthday, and all the movie channels were playing Elvis movies. We recorded a bunch she needs for her Elvis Mini Class coming up in a few weeks. Then we went to Famous Dave's BBQ. It was where we decided to go once we got the house finally finished. Granted I still have a few doors to change, and a shelf to put up in the laundry room, (well that's hopefully going to be done tonight) but the fan because our default accomplish point. So we went and filled up on some pretty decent food. They had great corn muffins, and cole slaw. I had Ribs & Pork Combo, and she had Lemon Pepper Chicken. Afterwards we went to the bar where she had an awesome fruity drink that was awesomely awesome, while I had a Bloody Mary that the tomato in made my already full stomach hurt a bit. Then we went home and watched Swimming Pool. Neither of us quite understood the point of the movie, we got it, but why. The chick in it had phenominal boobs, and was naked most of the movie {Motley Crue - Dancing on Glass} so it had that going for it.

Sunday was Phil's Wrestling Buddy Housewarming Gathering. Went to his place and got a ticket. Since when is there meter feeding on Sundays? Nonetheless was a decent time with good friends, and Phil was a great host. Watched a bit of wrestling including the New Jack - Gypsy Joe incident. Gypsy Joe is 70+ years old and New Jack hit him full strength with an aluminum baseball bat three times. We rinsed that dirtiness off with a healthy dose of one of the most fun {Slaughter - Up All Night YES!} matches. Ebessan (named after and dressed like the Japanese God of Laughter) and Kuishinbo Kamen came over for a little tour of America, and worked a show for Pro Wrestling Guerilla in California. This match features a little thing they are known for, which is the slow motion beginning. They did the opening sequences of the match in slow motion, chops, throws into the ropes, Shining Wizards all in slow motion, very humorous. The rest of the match is fun too, and is a good embodiment of one of the reasons I love wrestling. We left Phil's house {Ratt - Heads I Win, Tails You Lose} and headed all the way up to Round Lake Beach to Kristoff's Family Fun Center. For $5 Cover they broadcast the Wrestling Pay Per Views. Kristoff's is a Bar/Bowling Alley/Arcade/Go-Kart place. So we met up with some guys and watched the PPV. It was a one match show, and that one match delivered. I always tend to enjoy the PPV's more hanging with friends and goofing around as opposed to buy my self and analyzing what I'm watching. So the match might not have been that good, but oh well.

Hey fun weekend updates. Now it's your turn you do the same, unless you already have, then you don't have to.

You know it'll be a good day when...

You walk into the office and the random of your MP3 player starts up...

Her name is Noelle
I had a dream about her
She rings my bell
Got gym class in half an hour
Oh how she rocks
In Keds and tube socks
But she doesn't know who I am
And she doesn't give a damn about me

Cause I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby
Yeah I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby
Listen to Iron Maiden baby with me
Ooohoooooo

Her boyfriend's a dick
He brings a gun to school
And he'd simply kick
my ass if he knew the truth
he lives on my block
and He drives an I-ROC
but he doesn't know who I am
And he doesn't give a damn about me

cause i'm just a teenage dirtbag baby
yeah i'm just a teenage dirtbag baby
listen to iron maiden baby with me
Ooohoooooo

Oh yeah dirtbag
No, she doesn't know what she's missing
Oh yeah dirtbag
No, she doesn't know what she's missing

Man I feel like mold
It's prom night and I am lonely
Low and behold
She's walking over to me
This must be fake
My lips start to shake.
How does she know who I am?
And why does she give a damn about me

I've got two tickets
to Iron Maiden baby
Come with me Friday
don't say maybe
I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby
like you Ooo oo oo ooooooo

YEAH YEAH dirtbag
No, she doesn't know what she's missing
Oh yeah dirtbag
No, she doesn't know what she's missing...

Number 3

Just found this on Anne's LJ. I don't know Anne, but I noticed she friended me. That's a very friendly thing to do so I friended her back. Hi Anne *waves* I got this off of her LJ. It's somewhat me, except the part about needing change, that's not very Kenlike.

Your first name of Kenneth has given you a quick, analytical mind. You are creative, versatile, and imaginative. However, independence, positivity and the urge for action and progress are such strong forces in your nature that you find it difficult to control them. You feel happy as long as headway is being made, but as soon as you are obstructed or your individuality and freedom of action are restricted, you experience an intense nervous reaction. Moods of depression can result during which you become caustic and belligerent in your attitude toward everyone, especially to those in closest association with you. Routine, monotony, and the responsibility of looking after details can have a similar effect on you, as you are a person who desires change, travel, and new experiences. In order to gain greater congeniality in your personal associations, you need to cultivate a more relaxed manner, greater generosity, understanding, and tolerance, and, above all, you need to avoid being too outspoken and self-opinionated. The influence of this name can be very destructive to your health and personal happiness, even though it may take you far in business. You frequently experience nervous tension in the solar plexus. A sensitive stomach and ulcers could result. Also, ailments could centre in the head affecting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, or teeth.

Two Today, Rock rock on, I'm shooting for four.

Sweet Caroline came onto the random of my MP3 player.
I sang along.
The office door was open.
Oops.

Ok, I haven't updated in a while. Let's have at it.

So it was last year I updated everyone, back before Christmas even.

Well let's talk Christmas, Sara and I got lots and lots of together gifts this year, and we got TOTALLY spoiled. All-Clad Pots and Pans, Calaphon Bakeware, a grill from each side of the family, enough money (after returning one of the grills) to get the Kitchen Island we've been fauning over and much much MUCH more. I also got a DVD Recorder that hasn't been tried out yet, but once it does I'll soon be starting the transfer of my tapes to DVD+R and there will be a lot less clutter all around, since I'll sell off most of my wrestling tapes.

New Years was good, could have been better, but I had a stomach ache, so I wasn't exactly the most up on it party guy. Day after we held a big brunch and it was our first "event" it went well. I was running ragged, and I loved it, so all is good.

Other than that, there's been lots of running around and it seems the busy holiday season is winding down, and it'll soon be time to relax.

Super Porky and El Hijo Del Santo are coming to town the same day as an IWA show in Valpo. Hopefully the Lucha show is early enough to partake in some of both.

God that's a sucky update, but it's all I can do now, so it's all you get.
