Well that was a long time without having to work.

Tuesday was Sara and I's third anniversary. Went to the Mundeline Gale Street Inn and it sucked. Apparently it has nothing to do with the real Gale Street Inn downtown. I hope not since, I've heard that place rocked, and this place stunk. Ran to Jewel to get some decent dessert, and headed home to partake in some yummy desert, some wine/cider, and Shrek2.
Wednesday watched more of the TPI (a running theme since it takes a while to get through 6 DVDs) and had a pretty lazy day, while the snow fell outside. Cleaned house here and there, Got Sara's network card in her computer and got her hooked onto the net. Finished out the night watching parts of Duplex, Coffee & Cigarettes, and falling asleep during Brother Bear.
Thursday, I decided to do Thanksgiving at her parents house. So most of the day was spent there. It was nice and it was good. I like yummy food.
Friday we putzed around for a bit and finally got TPI finished, before heading off to Indiana to visit my family. Before leaving we checked on Sara's Jeep which was in the shop. She found out it's going to be $850 if she wants to repair the back hatch door of her Jeep. She's still not sure if she will. Then we head to Indiana. Apparently my Aunt and Uncle are there too, but they're soon to go off to visit old friends, so I just hang out with Mom, Dad, Lynda and the kids. Steven is even bigger, the kid is huge, and Rachel just chats up a storm. I stupidly never took pictures of the kids, even though I brought the camera. Then that night I help grade papers while we watch Breakfast Club with my Dad.
Saturday, had some breakfast before my aunt & uncle left, then showered up and headed to my sisters to play with the kids a bit before heading back home. The drive sucked as it was raining pretty good, and traffic wasn't the best. We then go out to do some shopping, as I try to grab things that were on after-Thanksgiving Friday & Saturday sale late at the end of Saturday. Needless to say those attempts all came up empty handed, and things that were needed from Target were all that I came home with. Good thing I had most of my Christmas shopping done already, because I tried to buy 5 separate things and every one came up a goose egg. Luckily Live Band Karaoke with Larry and Phil wasn't a goose egg. Fun times had once again on the Live Band Karaoke tip.
Sunday, a trip to get wrapping paper and a couple things from the store, turned into a big Grocery store extravaganza, then I wrapped presents while watching the July ROH Chicago show. Made some dinner, read some sale papers. Then Sara finds out that she gets her sister's old computer since she got a new one. So I'll be taking the network card out of hers and putting it in this one (if it needs it). But I still sent copies of all of her files over to my computer, so it can be put on the new computer once hooked up.
Now today is Monday, and it was difficult to get up, and I'm still tired, but I'm sitting here writing this and not working, so YAY!

Another weekend report

Rock Rock On.
Friday Sara and I met Dina and Heather out at Rainbow's in Highwood for drinks. Twas fun. Dina gave us placemats, they are delightful. Easy, fun night.
Saturday clean up the house. We finally got the spare bedroom all cleaned up, and got the sewing table Up In There (up in there, Y'all gonna make me lose my mind). Started going through my tapes to get ready for my massive Ken Clearing House Sale. I went through just my unwatched tapes, and I'm keeping probably about 30, and gonna sell about 140. So with that just being the unwatched, and the Keep:Sell ratio being even more on the sell side on the already watched stuff, I think I'm looking at selling probably around 400 tapes. Then I got ready to head out to wrestling. Went and grabbed lunch with Sara at BoBos, and off to Larry's house. Then he drove on out to Indiana for some pre-IWA Round the Clock action. I got the Tour of Italy, with Lemon Rice as my soup, and Orange Sherbet as my Dessert (notice only one R in Sherbet! :) ) . Then it was off to the show. Usual good fare of IWA, not on par with the exceptional shows of late, but definitely the usual high quality IWA show. As always enjoyable times hanging with the boys before during and after the show. Then Larry took me to a house party. Real good time had. Met many a current local wrestling personality, all were enjoyable. A fun time, and my old man self hadn't been out that late in a while. Was kind of refreshing. Got home a touch shy of 6am.
Sunday, woke up relatively early, considering the previous night, to head up to Kenosha to the outlet malls. Firstly we wanted to get to the Old Navy in Gurnee, since we were going through Old Navy withdrawl. Got some work pants, and a T-Shirt with some Rock-on horns, and then went the rest of the way up to Kenosha. Picked up a couple things for people, got rechargable batteries for the digital camera, got new headphones for the PIMP, got a pizza stone. Stopped at Gino's East on the way home, and was nearly sleeping in the booth. Once I got home, I couldn't sleep though, so watched Natalie Portman's Inside the Actor's Studio (HOTT!) and some Food Network Thanksgiving stuff. Then finally went to sleep.
I'm awesome and took Wednesday and Friday off, so today is the last workday of the week. Today's also Sara and I's third anniversary, so YAY. Going to Gale Street Inn tonight for dinner to celebrate.

"Lindsey Lohan Speak"
"Lindsey Lohan Tattoo"
"lindsey lohan dating"

Someone got here by searching for
""Kankakee Valley High School" Prom"

And the one who really wanted
"Wrestler's pictures Hillbilly Jim"

I have no clue how the person that wanted this got here
"games for toch screen organizers" hell, I don't even know what a toch is :)

Apparently someone thinks that during a match once that
""abdullah the butcher" bladed", I can't possibly believe that to be true.

Some people want to know about "egotisto fantastico" and also about "shag haircut" or even "picture of taylor stubblefield" or "cu" or "li"

"Large Sofa/Foyer Table from Homestar Furniture" might be one of the more odd ones to get people here, and I was the first of only two entries that came up in that yahoo search.

Someone foreign really wants to know about "pissporno"

"Outkast pitbulls" always gets someone to my blog every couple of weeks, as does "pitbulls for sale in Chicago".

But "Chappelle's Show Lita" I have no clue how that works.

Huh? I have a blog?

Yes dear sweet Blog readers, I've left you hanging for too long. Let's just forget about the times I've left you hanging and go right back into Weekend Updates!!!!

Friday, got home from work and ran to Home Depot to buy the parts for the closet unit I'm putting in the next day. Then cooked some dinner and carved some pumpkins with Sara and her sister. Then went out to the Cubby Bear North and hung out with Larry watching some live band karaoke. Found out Larry's sister is Sara's sister's best friend. Crazy small world and such.

Saturday, put the closet rods and shelves up and it was easy and fun. I went to go return some unused parts and pick up a couple extra bits just to make things extra secure, and Northwestern ended up scoring late and beating Purdue. I swear if I actually watch a full game again they'll win it. Had Chipotle for the first time, it was delightful, I think it's the super fluffy rice that makes it so good, plus the meat is well flavored. Then I tried to install the ceiling fan, sadly this wasn't as fun and smooth as the closet. It took a few frustrating hours figuring out how to get the old one down. I also spilled about a cup of oil from the motor onto myself and the floor in that process. Then I notice there is one more wire than I understand there is supposed to be coming out of the ceiling. I hooked up the fan, assuming that the the two odd colored wires if together would be a single black wire. Sadly that isn't the case as the fan does not work. I don't go with Sara and Nifer to their friend's Halloween party, and continue to work on it. Finally I just give up on the fan, and get in the shower, to go out for a few drinks with Sara and Nifer after they left the party because they weren't really digging it. We went to Champp's and a few and then called it a night.

Sunday we go to Leona's for I'm looking to enjoy their big Sunday brunch as a bit of a celebration for selling my condo. Unfortunatly the Leona's out by us doesn't do the brunch. So we go with our favorite breakfast place out that way Max & Benny's. It was good as always, and I ran into ex-co-worker David Himel there and exchange some pleasantries. Then it's off to Sara's parents house, because we're going to borrow their van to go buy the dressers we like at Dania (I gave links to dressers we're getting a few posts back) In another shortcoming of the day, they don't have any in stock, so we're going to be getting them next Friday. So we return the van, and head out to Jamba Juice to use the free smoothie coupon that Larry gave me the other day, and putz around a bit at the stores nearby. Then back home for me to give candy to the trick or treaters, and for Sara to head to Nifer's parent's house. For Jason's birthday thing. I get 6 rings of the doorbell and a total of 11 trick or treaters (I had four bags of candy, since I had no clue how busy the neighborhood gets.) Of the eleven trick or treaters I got only one saying "Trick or Treat" and I recieved only one "Thank you". Kids these days. I tells ya. Fuck 'em. But I did get to watch a bunch of things off of our OnDemand, I watched a few episodes of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, and episode of O'Grady, an old Bill Hicks HBO One Night Stand. I also watched a bit of the IWA 2003 KOTDM Q&A. Then Sara came home from the gathering with some Italian Beef sandwiches for us, so I made some corn and potatoes to go with it, and we ate dinner and watched Honey on OnDemand.

Yesterday I actually watched some Raw and it wasn't that bad. Today on the train I watched some of CZW Trifecta 2, now that sucked big time, I'm two thirds the way through it and I've only watched all of one match (Nate Webb vs. Jigsaw vs. Excalibur) , I pretty much only downloaded it because I heard the Chris Hero vs. B-Boy Ironman Title match was good. So I have that to look forward to on the train. Speaking of trains I'm an idiot. I was going to drive into work today, because I didn't have time to change my voter registration to Vernon Hills, so I could vote in Rogers Park. I remembered that halfway to Chicago on the train. We were told we could get to work late because of voting, but we're not allowed to leave early. So I won't be able to vote and get back up to Vernon Hills, nor will I have time to get to my car, and drive back down to Roger's Park either. Not to mention my Mom is coming to the house this evening means I don't get to vote.
